Bravo - tapas with heart. One of our favorite tapas bars! Great atmosphere, excellent food, and very welcoming owners.
Tas-k - a perfect tapas stop on the way to the beach. Relaxed evening vibes and delicious plates.
Restaurants
KV Bar Gournet - French cuisine, mainly seafood. A lovely spot right by the harbor with a great vibe. Perfect for a relaxed evening.
CK's Bistro - cozy restaurant tucked in a little alley. Tasty food with some surprising curries on the menu.
B on the rocks - great restaurant in a beautiful building. Memorable setting.
3 Raices - steakhouse and wine bar. Excellent meat dishes with a good wine list.
Other
Punjab Sizzling - Indian food. We love their take-out - perfect for enjoying on the terrace.
Berry’s - our favorite ice cream place - a must-have stop after fun at the beach!
Macaronesia Coffee Shop - wonderful desserts to go. Tip: pick something from the top shelf - they’re like grandma’s baking (and taste like it too).
Buganvilla plaza - the food is average, but we love the atmosphere. You’ll be sitting right in front of the church on the main square.
Casa Edu - Canarian barbecue. Rustic grill, big portions, good prices - satisfying and authentic.
Barraquito coffee - a Tenerife must-try! This layered coffee drink is a true Canarian classic. Doesn’t matter where you get it - just make sure you do.

La Escala - our favorite spot for breakfast or a quick bite in Santa Cruz.
Bloom bar and brunch - a stylish place for brunch with a mimosa in the morning or cocktails in the evening.
Daria's Bakery & Bistro - nice place with wide menu options for brunch.
L'ete bistro - delicious breakfast and a cozy vibe.
Cafe Breslau - great stop for breakfast or a light bite in La Orotava.
Restaurants
Ichiban Teppanyaki - book a teppanyaki dinner here for a fun night out. Delicious food cooked right in front of you, paired with a lively show that’s perfect to enjoy with friends.
Bahia beach - beach, DJs, food and cocktails - all with Bali vibes and a fantastic atmosphere.
Aqua y Sal - one of the best places for seafood lovers. This restaurant is located in San Miguel de Tajao, a town full of nice seafood restaurants.
Restaurant 88 - Asian cuisine with a modern twist. Sushi, dim sum, noodles.
Cacio e Pepe - a cozy Italian restaurant with authentic flavors.
Zicatela - fusion food and cocktails in an interior as interesting as the menu.
Limonella - lovely Italian spot with a beautiful interior. Order the tiramisu for dessert - they prepare it right at your table!
Guachinche
For a guachinche experience head to Guachinche El Lomo - Canarian food and wine + atmosphere! After Guachinche El Lomo desert is waiting for you in a churreria nearby - Churrería Alcalá, don't forget to order hot chocolate (this churrreria is working only Friday-Sunday).
Guachinche El Cordero - rustic Canarian food served in the middle of a banana plantation.

Don Quicacho - Mexican street food in Garachico.
Luxalad - salad bar with fresh, healthy options in Los Cristianos.
Natural pools of Los Gigantes - nice for swimming, crab watching.
Beautiful trail to Puerto Santiago - starts here.
Fishing, sightseeing, pirate ship and other excursions in the harbour.

Icod de los Vinos - a beautiful town with the oldest tree on the island. Have lunch in Casa del Drago while there. A nice experience there is also a tropical greenhouse full of butterflies - Mariposario del Drago.
Garachico - a place that can be combined as a day trip together with Icod de los Vinos. They are very close. When in Garachico jump into Piscinas Naturales de El Caletón and visit the old harbor Puerta de Tierra which was later covered in lava. An interesting place to visit for smokers - Tabacos Arturo (they make cigars here).
Masca - must visit. A beautiful village in the mountains used to be a pirate hideaway. Parking might be tricky, but patience is your answer :)
Candelaria - a cozy town on the way to Santa Cruz. If you like churros - visit Churrería y Chocolatería El Guanche for extra large ones :) Bocatti Empanadas - if you need a quick snack.
Puerto de la Cruz. A bit bigger town. Great destination for walking and exploring. Worth visiting especially if you are going to Loro park. Nice spot for pictures just outside of the Loro park. Fortin de San fernando - also a nice spot for a walk next to Puerto de la Cruz.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife - capital of the island. While there we suggest visiting palm park Palmetum. Playe de Las Teresitas for a beach experience. There is a really nice playground for kids - here. And a sandwich bar for a quick bite - Café Caramba.
San Cristobal de La Laguna - old capital of the island. We like it better than Santa Cruz. It has more character for us. Very nice place to have a walk and be among the locals. If you would get hungry we recommend - La Crepería Les Îles.
La Orotava – one of our favorite towns: local, authentic, and full of charm. Visit Casa de los Balcones with its famous wooden balconies, the Museo Molino de Gofio to learn about traditional Canarian flour, and the beautiful Marquesado de la Quinta Roja garden for a peaceful stroll.
Las Americas - the loudest part of the island. Bars, clubs, etc.
El Medano - one of the most beautiful beaches, the place for kite surfers.
Chinyero volcano - great spot for hiking. Lots of lava hills, pine forests and giant cones. We suggest going all the way around the volcano (±7 km.). It might be chilly in the mountains, so don't forget to bring some warmer clothes with you.
Anaga rural park - is one of the most beautiful places in the northern part of the island. Great place for hiking. Good hike to start with - Sendero de los Sentidos (suitable for kids). Visit Casa Santiago for lunch, this place has great views.
Teide national park - biggest park on the Canary Islands. Loads of trails and activities for all tastes. Must visit.
Paisaje Lunar En Teno Alto - gorgeous views, very beautiful road to get there. Different Tenerife or should I say Scotland...?
Siam water park - huge water park under the open skies. Ton of fun both for kids and adults.
Banana experience - banana plantation. If you arrive there during tour times (can be found on their website) you will get a tour by an amazing guide that will tell you a lot of exciting facts about bananas.
Loro Park - one of the best zoo in the world.
Monkey park - a small zoo with lots of monkeys and guinea pigs that you can feed and play with.
Ecological Farm Finca El Carretón - farm animals! Lots of birds stalking you for snacks.
Quesería Montesdeoca - book a guided cheese farm tour where you’ll meet the animals, get a behind-the-scenes look at the cheesemaking process, and of course taste some delicious Canarian cheeses.
Finca La Canopea – Take a tour of this unique vanilla plantation and farm. Learn how vanilla is cultivated up close and discover the process behind one of the world’s most loved flavors.
Playa de los Guios - our home beach. Come closer to the rocks next to the harbour and you will see lots of crabs :)
La Jaquita - three beautiful small beaches with very neat and tidy surroundings.
Abama - cozy/fancy white sand beach with very sought-after surroundings.
Playa de Los Cristianos - a big beach next to the ferry port. So, while enjoying the sun, you can observe the ships go by. After the beach, go to Bar Restaurante El Cine for lunch - try the octopus and tomato salad.
Del Duque - big and busy white sand beach surrounded by bars and restaurants.
Enramada - the beach where paragliders are landing in the evenings.
El Medano - a beach for kitesurfing. Usually very windy.
Playa de las Americas - a beach for surfing.
Reveron wines - great food, wine, and interesting tours.
Finca Ecológica Alma de Trevejos - winery and ecological farm. Close to Reveron wines, so choose one or visit both :)
Bodegas Monje - one of the biggest wineries on the island.
LIDL - closest bigger shop next to our home (walking distance).
Mercadona - another bigger shop (driving distance).
SuperDino - sometimes they have what's missing in LIDL and Mercadona :)
Supermercado Los Gigantes - if you need something within a walking distance from home.
Frutería Salvador - fruit and vegetable shop (I-VI, 8:00 - 15:00).
Agromercado Adeje - eco fruit and vegetable market. You can also get some local wines, cheeses and home-made cakes here (VI-VII 8:00 - 13:00, III - 15:00 - 19:00).
Cooperativa Mercado Nuestra Señora De África - African market. Market with a wide variety of fresh local produce. Great for sea food lovers, one of the places inside - ERVAZA Pescadería Marisquería.
Galeon outlet - outlet mall, where you can find such brands as 'Levi's', 'Timberland'.
Siam mall - one of the biggest shopping malls in the island.
Ale-hop - a shop chain all across Tenerife, where you can find fun and quirky items for gifts, decorations, accessories and other things.
Aloe vera Fresca - aloe vera cosmetics shop in Los Gigantes port. Cosmetics made from locally grown aloe vera.
Wio Family - very nice shop for your little ones. Clothes, games, accessories and etc. for kids.
